How to convert |
A decimal fraction consists of two parts separated by a comma: - the whole part (the part to the left of the comma). Numbers before the decimal point are called integers. - the decimal part (the part to the right of the comma). The numbers after the comma are called decimals. Any natural number (for example 8) can be written as a decimal fraction by adding a comma to the right and then as many zeros as we want. Example / exercise: 8 = 8.0 = 8.00 where 8 is the whole part and 00 is the decimal part. |
